Fuller Country Estate,
Southern Highlands

This simple country home gathers the existing house into the design forming a collection of linked pavilions.

All living spaces face north which captures the magnificent view along the valley floor to the distant mountains.

Traditional elements such as verandahs have been utilised but these are combined with highlight windows, keeping the interiors filled with natural light and allowing cross ventilation. Solar panels, water tanks and the building materials make the home extremely energy efficient.

Budget $2.1M, construction time 14 months (2005)
