This is a prototype for a pre-fabricated modular house intended as a weekender in Bathurst NSW.

The concept arose out of a need for an affordable house that can be made off-site and erected by the owner with minimal building experience.

The load bearing hardwood frame is a single structural element. The modularity allows for flexibility in the design.
